Hammocks come in two basic load capacities: Model 'A' rated up to 250 lbs & Model 'C' rated up to 350 lbs

The Speer Hammock contours to your body, eliminating those uncomfortable pressure points that make you toss & turn in your own bed or when sleeping on the unforgiving ground. It's so comfortable, some folks end up putting them in their bedroom!

Polypropylene Webbing Straps provide proper strength, stretch & tree-bark protection

 Here two Speer Hammocks with PeaPods are set side by side using 3 trees--a conmvenient couples arrangement! A single 8x10 tarp can cover both hammocks

The included tarp is not attached to the Hammock, thus it can be set high or low to adjust for current weather conditions

The Bug Net is black no-see-um netting held up by a Ridgeline which includes a short lenght of shock cord to prevent over tightening
 The Bug Net is attached to the Hammock with hook & loop fasteners so it can be easily opened at any place on either side for quick entry or exit. It can also be totally removed when not needed (a 6 oz weight savings!) or opened & left hanging from one side until it is needed
The Speer Hammock easily sets up on the ground when no trees are available. Hiking poles or sticks hold the Tarp & Bug Net while the Hammock itself lies on the ground like a bivy sack
